Fundraising for our Minister’s Education

Eating mochi, a pounded rice ball or cake, is a Japanese New Year’s Day tradition. Pre-order your Mochi (4 balls/$5) by 12/26 and pick up on 12/31 between 5:00–7:30 pm at MochiFest. Other baked goods available (e.g., Butter Mochi) for $5. This is a fundraiser for our Minister’s Education. Reservations Required for the Traditional Mochi – limited number being made. Mochi rice cake is a pounded sweet rice, eaten in a sweet or savory dish such as Miso, Ozoni or Udon Noodle Soup, or you can toast it as a topping on any other dish.
