Membership to the Temple is not required to participate in the Sangha, although we are very grateful when, after you have been coming to the temple awhile and feel that this is the path that you have been searching for, you decide to become a member.

Memberships are available for each adult in a family. Becoming a member of the Spokane Buddhist Temple includes becoming a member of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA). See the 2026 SBT Membership/Pledge Form here.

Suggested Annual Membership for 2026 is $300 per adult or $25/month

Benefits of temple membership include: monthly newsletter, voting for the Temple Board of Directors, participation in District and National seminars, retreats and educational programs.

We use a Pledge System for membership and additional donations. Pledge forms are available in the Temple Bookstore or can be downloaded below.

Members pledge a specific amount to be paid in dues. Also, many members donate in addition to their dues, to support the mission of the Temple to spread the Dharma. Also, some people pledge to donate a specific amount to the Temple, but do not wish to be members at this time. The pledge form works for each of these situations.

Please note that membership dues pay for about 1/3 of the cost of the Temple’s expenses. Your contribution is greatly appreciated!
